Dixie's Story
Dixie is a sweet and adorable 7 month old girl who was surrendered when the daughter in the family became allergic. As soon as she came to the shelter, she was already greeting staff and volunteers with hugs. Dixie has eyes that will melt your heart, and she is usually standing with her feet on her kennel door so she can watch for any visitors. She did not get along with the cats in her former home. She is good with men, women, and children. Being as young as she is, she will likely still have a little training to do, such as continuing her housetraining, but she is well worth it.
