Meet Dixie<br/><br/>She is an 8-pound 5y old spayed female toy poodle surrendered to BTTR when her owner moved. While we generally only take in beagles and beagle mixes we made a special exception for this sweet girl. Adoption area is Hampton Roads area of Virginia and NE North Carolina (within 1.5 hours of Chesapeake, VA 23322)<br/><br/>Dixie would love a home where she can have a lot of cuddles, a fenced in yard would be a plus. She has lived in a home with other dogs and cats, but was previously attacked by a German Shepard and required stitches so she may prefer to be an only dog or with other smaller dogs. She does well riding in the car and loves to be held.<br/><br/>She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, has a recent negative fecal test, and is on flea/tick/and heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>BTTR offers a trial period to all of our adoptions to make sure it’s the right fit!
