Dixi's Story

DIXI - Mexi-Mix / 4.5 Years / 16kg / F-Spayed

Dixi is a sweet pup, who is more than ready to find her forever peeps. She doesn’t ask for much. A patient household and people who will help her navigate this big unpredictable world.

Dixi is quiet to start, needing time to familiarize herself with people and her surroundings, but with practice she has been continuously improving. She is curious about people and will approach them on her own terms when she is out and about. Once she’s has had time to settle, she is playful and loving! She seems eager to please, and happy to train along side you (as long as you have treats in hand!)

For her forever home, she needs a household that is patient, and willing to help her work through some confidence things. A home with people who are around more often than not is preferred. Out on walks, she loves a quiet neighbourhood as unsuspecting or sudden noises tend to catch her off guard. A dog pal is needed to help Dixi have a mentor to go through life with (and a buddy to romp with)No small children, they're too unpredictable and no cats please- they're a little too fun to chase!

To apply, please visit www.dibsrescue.com to apply. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
