Diva was found dumped on a rural road in Central Alabama. She was alone, scared and wet from walking down road in thunderstorm. One of our fosters came up on her and was able to get her in the car to safety. After seeing a vet we learned her front leg is a birth defect she was born with. But that is not Divas only concern. She has obviously not had a nice life. She has been abused and is very scared of people. She needs a home that will be patient with her and help her to become comfortable and overcome her fear of people. She has been evaluated by a professional trainer and it was determined that with training and TLC, she could overcome her fears and be a wonderful companion dog. Once she is comfortable with you, she is a loving, sweet and affectionate girl. She is calm and laid back. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She would be better suited for a house with no children as well as a fenced in yard.
