Diva's Story

If you're looking for a big dog with a big sense of humor, meet Diva.

When Diva arrived at Crossroads in July 2025, she was in pretty bad shape. Diva was suffering from severe environmental and food allergies, which caused an infection in her skin. Her fur was patchy, her skin was irritated, and the poor girl was miserable.

We started Diva on a limited ingredient diet, treated her infection with appropriate antibiotics and soothing baths to calm her skin. With the right diet and careful management of her symptoms, Diva has recovered from her infection and is feeling much better!

Diva will need her allergies managed through diet and veterinary care, but she knows there is a special someone out there just for her. Diva loves going for walks, playing fetch, and has a silly/playful personality. Stop in to meet with Diva any time during shelter hours, Wednesday-Sunday 12pm-5pm.
