Diva's Story
Diva: True to Her Name!

Meet Diva, a vibrant 4-year-old with a personality as bold as her name suggests! From the moment she enters the room, she makes sure you know she's in charge. Before she lets anyone into her inner circle, she’s got to see what you're all about. But don’t be fooled—her sassy act quickly melts away when she’s out in the yard, especially if there’s a ball involved. If you’ve got a ball in your hand, Diva’s ready to play.

A few of Diva’s favorite things include going for walks, runs, and hikes—if you’ve got the leash, you’re sure to see that signature bounce in her step. While she came to us as a stray, this clever girl knows her basic commands and is very eager to please. She’s friendly, though she can get a bit jumpy when she’s excited, but don’t worry—she’s been working hard on her manners and is proud of the progress she’s made.

Diva is incredibly smart and loves a good routine, often anticipating what’s next before you even have to say a word. However, she prefers to be the star of the show and would love to be the only dog in the house. While she’s made a few male dog friends, Diva is very selective about her companions, so we think it’s best for her to be the only pup in the home. As for cats? Well, Diva’s not interested in sharing the spotlight with them either.

Diva has been patiently waiting for her forever family at PMFAS since July 28, 2022—over 3 years now. If she’s not the right fit for you, we’d appreciate it if you’d share her story and help her find the perfect match.

Ready to meet Diva? Start your adoption process today!
