And yes, it’s true, she’s even bilingual, responding to both English and Spanish!<br/><br/>Dior lives with three large foster dog siblings (two females and one male), and they’re the best of friends! Whether they’re splashing in the pool, playing tug-of-war in the living room, or snuggled up together after a fun day, Dior is always right in the mix. When introduced to new dogs during her visit with us, she instantly made everyone feel comfortable. Our behavior team was especially impressed with her dog-savvy nature, making her an excellent candidate for doggy daycare or dog park adventures. She would do well in the home with another medium energy dog to keep her company.<br/><br/>She’s also cat friendly! Dior coexisted peacefully with our resident cat Biggie, giving him plenty of space and respect. She’d do well in a home with a dog-friendly feline roommate. She hasn’t lived with any kiddos, but she has the demeanor where we believe she would do well with older dog savvy children. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!<br/><br/>Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.<br/><br/>The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.<br/><br/>It doesn’t stop there!
