If you like strolls around the neighborhood and being greeted with pure joy whenever you meet a friend on the sidewalk, she’s your girl. The only time she pulls on leash is when she spots a ? “fast-moving fluffy thing of mystery” — otherwise, she’s a delight. ?Inside the home, Dio is learning all the cozy comforts she missed out on. She’s house trained, sleeps soundly through the night (preferably snuggled right next to her human), and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and humans of all sizes. Her foster mom says she’s “so sweet and lovable… she’s perfect.” And honestly? We believe it. ?Dio does have some puppy-ish habits — she may chew things she shouldn’t (shoes beware!), but with a patient family and some guidance, she’s eager to learn. She isn’t a fan of car rides yet, but she’s getting better every time. ?Because Dio spent so much of her early life without companionship, she’d thrive in a home with another dog buddy to play with and learn from.
