Dinah

Dinah is a tiny 3-year-old terrier mix weighing just 11 pounds, and once she decides you’re her person, she is all in.<br/><br/>She came from a shut down warehouse in Bakersfield where dogs people would often come by to dump dogs. The man there provided kennels and dog houses and did his best to care for them, but he is now being removed from the property. We are helping rehome several of the dogs from there, including sweet Dinah.<br/><br/>Dinah forms strong, genuine bonds with her people. She may take a moment to warm up, but once she connects, she attaches deeply and happily. She loves being close, whether that means sitting beside you, following you from room to room, or simply sharing space. She is comfortable around other dogs and settles in nicely, but what truly makes her happiest is being with her person. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation.<br/><br/>More on our process:<br/>Due to high demand, especially for popular dogs, not all applicants will be contacted. Moreover, we may not reach out if we have already approved a family to adopt. The process can take several days. Thank you for your patience!
