Dillard (adoption fee reduced due to length of time at rescue)

He is affectionate, loving, and would be a great companion for anyone needing a little joy in their life. He loves to snuggle, watch tv, and eat popcorn but he also enjoys a good walk on a sunny day. <br/> <br/><br/>Dillard is a 5 year old pitbull terrier mix. He is not cat friendly. He is crate trained, housebroken, and walks great on a leash. Foster states he has a sweet personality and does well with people and medium/large dogs. His adoption fee has been lowered to $350 due to length of time in foster care (over 1 year). <br/><br/>Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be.<br/><br/>This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $350 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
