HIGHLIGHTS
-Requires a confident dog already established in the home.

Meet Digit - A Shy but Social Schnauzer with a Heart of Gold

Say hello to Digit, a 6-year-old Miniature Schnauzer weighing 9.6 pounds. This sweet boy might start off a little shy, but once he's comfortable, his friendly and playful personality shines through.

Digit does well with "wait," gentle touch, and pick up in his kennel - he might give a little grumble at first, but it's just his way of expressing uncertainty. Once he realizes you mean well, he settles right in and does great.

He's food motivated and eager to please, which makes him a wonderful candidate for continued training and bonding through treats.

In playgroup, Digit is very dog-oriented and truly comes alive around his canine friends. He initiates play and enjoys the company of other dogs, showing his confident and social side when surrounded by furry pals.

Digit is looking for a loving, patient home - ideally one with another friendly dog - where he can keep building confidence and enjoy plenty of playtime. With gentle guidance and affection, Digit will reward his family with loyalty, joy, and endless tail wags.

----------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
