Meet Digby
Sweet boy Digby was found abandoned, starving, infested with fleas and petrified. His universe changed the moment one of our volunteers spotted him crouched between two bushes in the dark. She stopped her car, opened the door, and in he hopped. We brought him to the vet to receive all the veterinary care he needed and over time have watched him blossom into a gorgeous, robust young pup. As you can see, he's no longer starving! He really enjoys being around people and loves the great outdoors. We think he'd make a phenomenal outdoor exploration buddy - going on walks, hikes and sniffaroos - he loves investigating new surroundings! If you are looking for a gentle, devoted companion who at the same time maintains sweet independence then Digby may be your new best friend. His year of birth is estimated to be around November 2020, he currently weighs around 75 lbs, he's neutered, up to date with vaccinations and microchipped. Digby is so deserving of a home. If not ready to adopt, would you consider providing a temporary home for him serving as his foster family while we continue to find him a permanent home? Foster homes greatly increase a dog’s chance of a speedier adoption (in addition to benefiting the dog immensely) and you'd be making a huge, positive difference in the life of an animal who needs you. If interested, please email us at adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org
