Diesel's Story

Diesel is a 56-pound bundle of goofy charm, cuddles, and tail wags who is more than ready to find his forever home. At almost 3 years old, he has the perfect mix of playful energy and couch-potato snuggle skills. Diesel is incredibly people-friendly and absolutely loves being around his humans. He’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you from room to room just to be part of whatever you’re doing. He also fully believes he is a lap dog and will climb right into your lap any chance he gets.

Diesel is treat-motivated, eager to please, and enjoys learning, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He already knows basic commands and is continuing to work on his house-training skills. He has medium energy and is happiest with a couple of walks a day, some toy time, and lots of affection. He loves carrying toys around proudly, enjoys exploring the world on walks, and settles down nicely afterward for cuddle time.

One of Diesel’s best qualities is his sweet, happy personality. He’s calm in the car, making him a great companion for rides and adventures, and he has a naturally curious and silly nature that keeps people smiling. Whether he’s making goofy faces, zooming around with a toy, or leaning into you for affection, Diesel has a way of making every day brighter.

Diesel would do best in a single-dog home where he can soak up all the attention for himself. Because he can be a little rowdy and forget his size when he gets excited, a home with children 12 or older would be ideal. He is looking for a family that will continue giving him structure, love, and all the cuddles he thinks he deserves.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, toy-loving best friend with a huge heart and an even bigger personality, Diesel may be your perfect match.
