Diesel is a smart and loving dog, he loves to be around people so an owner with a flexible schedule will be a great fit for him! He does need an experienced dog owner and a strong handler with a leash as he's a very strong boy.<br/><br/>Diesel is not a fit with cats, he will be best suited as an only dog with a dog savvy dog owner. Diesel will be a star pupil in the FREE obedience class included in his adoption fee! Diesel is friendly with all people, although he ultimately wants a home with older kids (12+) who will play with him and help to burn off some of his energy! Diesel will be best suited to a home with a secure and physically fenced in yard as he can get very amped up at other dogs or animals passing by him.<br/><br/>Diesel's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations PLUS a free obedience course at Cedar Run Pet Boarding & Daycare. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Last Hope Animal Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

LHAR adoption counselors use information and insights from foster homes to help individuals and families meet their perfect match. Applicants are asked to fill out an adoption application which will then be processed before any adoptions are completed. This includes a vet check and reference calls. We also complete a home visit with each applicant before sending your new pet home! Adoption fees vary by the age of the animal. Dogs are $200 for seniors, $250 for adults, and $300 for puppies. Cats start at $50 for seniors or special needs, $85 for adults, and $100 for kittens.
