Hi. My name is Diesel. I am very rambunctious and playful, so you'll need some strength to handle me. That's why they call me diesel! A special thing to know about me is that i am deaf. The way you need to get my attention is by showing me something. Once i see a treat or toy in your hand, I can sit for a second or two and watch your hands. Then i am off again! If i can just have a place to run and play to burn off all this energy, I can settle in nicely to your home and stretch out on your couch with a fun chew toy.<br/> All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. For cats, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and feline AIDS/leukemia testing. All cats and kittens adopted from the Germantown Animal Shelter are not allowed to be declawed. Any questions should be directed to animalshelter@germantown-tn.gov.
