Diego's Story

Meet Diego! This sweet pup was found in Todos Santos Mexico in early 2024. He was fostered until fall of 2024 then he moved to our shelter while he waits for his perfect family to find him. Diego was born around March of 2023, and weighs around 42lbs currently. This sweet boy can be a little shy when you first meet him but warms up very quickly and becomes super cuddly and playful. Diego is coming to the PWN in June 2025 to go into a foster home to continue his search for his forever family.

Diego is a sweet boy who can get scared in situations with a lot of new humans. We are searching for the perfect family who can let Diego decompress at his pace, and shower him with love and treats to show him that he is safe and loved. This adorable pup is house and kennel trained, he also has a ton of experience walking on leash. We do think a home with children 14+ would be ideal, as he likes a calmer home. Diego is very playful, and loves going to the beach and on car rides. He is also dog friendly and loves to make new doggie friends. Diego is the right match for any family looking to add a loving and sweet boy into their lives. Diego will be arriving in the PNW and going into foster care until his perfect family finds him.

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Diego's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $300USD. This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.

Please Apply >> savingbajapaws.org/application
