Diego's Story

Diego is approximately 2.5 years, around 15 pounds, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped chihuahua mix breed. He is crate trained but needs patience and practice with potty & leash training~ soon he will be a pro of all three!!

He is affectionate, playful but also very shy when first met with unexpected changes. Diego gets along well with most dogs, adults and children alike. Given his adaptability, he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!!

Diego was rescued from the streets of Tecate neglected, malnourished with bite marks from fighting for food. Fortunately he is now flourishing under the loving care of a foster. (Feb 2024)

Diego has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him with the affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!
