Diego's Story

Small dog lovers, get yourselves ready!
Meet 7 year old, fluffy boy, Diego!
Diego and his two sibling, Grayson and Valentine were surrendered to us, after their family went through a devastating change and they knew the right thing was to find a stable and safe place for the kids to go. We stepped up, as we do when we can, and took them into safety.
Diego is described by his foster mom as extremely smart, the most personable out of the three, but also the most timid. He’s pretty shy at the beginning but warms up and is willing to be snuggly. And at around 9 pounds, he’s a wonderful snuggle bug.
He’s working on understanding leashes, and would hugely benefit from a fenced in yard to maintain safety. This goes for his other siblings as well.
He’s working on potty training, but is doing well and his foster mom is optimistic. But his forever home will need to be understanding and not be mad at him for not being perfect in that regard. He loves to be carried around and would rather be carried around than walk around(again also who wouldn’t want that) if you would like to be considered for this sweet fellow, please send an application in!
