He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning. Dickens requires a home with a companion dog of similar size/energy and a secure, physically fenced yard.<br/><br/>Dickens came into rescue from a seizure case in Richland County along with 70 other dogs and the Humane Society reached out to our rescue for assistance. Dickens has made incredible progress in rescue and loves being around people. He does well with most other dogs, even rambunctious younger dogs but he isn't particularly fond of dogs who continuously bark. He is doing well walking on a leash so while a fenced yard is preferred, it is not required. Dickens is making progress on housetraining if kept on a schedule, but he also does well with a belly band.
