DIAMOND's Story

Introducing this handsome guy we have named Diamond! He was brought to the shelter on 1/13 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So he is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep him safe and sound so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Diamond is only 2 years old and weighs a mere 58lbs. The volunteers describe him as a pretty boy, sweet, cute as can be, lots of energy, an. He would do really well with a big, backyard to help him burn his energy to his hearts content. Active family would be ideal as well. He would be a great running partner once he learns proper leash manners. We are confident he will have that mastered in no time at all. Just give him the deserving time and patience to practice and learn. He is a smart young man and can understand simple commands such as sit when asked. During his photo shoot, he eventually did sit but really didn't want to. He needs a person who will be completely patient with him and make necessary time and commitment to seeing that he learns everything PROPERLY!! Please take some time and visit with him in Run 87; his ID is 16306. He is waiting for you! He will shine like a DIAMOND if you would just give him a solid chance in your family. Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. The shelter believes in a simple adoption process removing the barriers to adoption. The adopter comes to the shelter and meets their new pet. They complete the adoption contract. The animal is given final vaccines and is microchipped. If adopted at an event there is no charge. If adopted out of the shelter the current special charge will be assessed.
