Edgewood Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adopting from Edgewood Animal Shelter is a very simple process. We are a first come, first served basis, unless otherwise noted. If you see an animal on Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, our Facebook Page, or other websites that is available for adoption and you are interested in making a forever companion, contact us. Come by our shelter during business hours. A meet and greet with the animal is available at our location. Once you have chosen an animal that is compatible, you will fill out an adoption agreement pay a designated fee as established with our Edgewood town and shelter Ordinance 2018-06 Exhibit A, "Schedule of Fees". Our adoption fee includes a one-year rabies vaccination, sterilization (as required by law), and a voucher for a "wellness check" at one of our local veterinarians, and microchipping.
