Ideal home: Dear Diary, man.. it’s been a rough few days. I don’t know where my family went, but I’ve been alone for a few days. I hope they come back soon because I need food.. and water. A police officer, I think that’s who it was, came knocking. Next thing you know, I am in the back of a van. Where am I going? The van stopped and the doors opened. But, this isn’t my home.. Now it has become that and I need to rewrite my story! My family ended up needing to surrender me and the kind people here found out I go by Diamond. Diamond Diaries is just because I was told there was already another diamond here. I am a senior Labrador mix that is pretty well behaved. I am looking for family with children over 8 years old due to some apprehension with handling. I am affectionate, easy going mostly and smart. I know basic commands, walk well on leash and enjoy being around people. I’ll even curl up next you! I cannot live with cats and will need to be your only dog. I was not nice to the one I was living with and don't like to share my space! I need to be your only princess! Dear Diary, today is the day I am ready for adoption. I think my future is looking bright!
