Diamond (COURTESY POSTING)'s Story

*DIAMOND IS NOT AT OUR SHELTER - THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING*

Diamond would like to be the only dog in her home, she loves her cuddle time, her toys, especially balls and playing fetch without competition by another dog.
She definitely needs a very secure fenced in yard as she has run away from two homes within the first week of getting adopted because she got scared. She will want to stay with her family after she has bonded with them.

Diamond has a cute prance and walks good on a leash. I call her a little princess as her white tip markings on her feet, tail and chest catch the eyes of onlookers. She is a very sweet girl, somewhat timid, for her sake introductions to new people should be taken slowly.

She has been good with older, calmer children. She is trained in a dog boarding facility where she has been for over a year since she came here at 3 months of age. In a home she would need regular potti breaks to get her into a routine.
Her shots were updated recently.

Diamond is ready for a home, she just needs a family that will take any needed precautions to keep her safe, so she wont be able to run away before she bonds with them.

She will continue to blossum in a home and be worth every moment spent with her to gain her trust. The family who adopts her will have a very loyal dog.
She is pretty well behaved. Not a big barker, quiet through the night, tries to not jump up, still hard sometimes when excited to see you.

She is a gentle dog with a timid spirit, when she is confident around you to relax, play and cuddle with you, then you see more of her beautiful personality shine.

Please contact Linda if you're interested in meeting & learning more about Diamond! 608-385-9550
