Diamond Pit Bull Terrier & Labrador Retriever Mix Amarillo, TX

Little Diamond was recently rescued after an unfortunate encounter with a not so happy porcupine. This lead to an emergency surgery to remove over 50 quills from her face & body. Thanks to an amazing rescue and incredible donor, Diamond was able to quickly get into surgery and begin to heal.

Luckily, she has made a quick recovery and is now looking for a home! She is available for a foster to adopt situation as she is currently in boarding while she waits for a foster and/or adoptive family.

At around 1.5-2 years old, 36lbs, and with her gorgeous black & white coat she is guessed to be a smaller pitbull, lab, terrier, or collie type mix. The majority of pups like Diamond who are rescued from the streets of Texas often have 4-7 breeds mixed in (or more!). Young and sweet this girl also had a litter of puppies at some point in the last few months.

Diamond is just the sweetest girl whose tail never stops wagging. Great with other dogs and kids, cats unknown as this time. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is heartworm negative, current on preventatives (flea/tick and heartworm), and has been dewormed & fecal tested negative. Diamond is also house/crate and leash trained.
