Diamond's Story

Diamond is 3 years old and very outgoing and loving towards all people, including strangers. She has lived with large and small breed dogs. She would prefer male dogs but may do ok with submissive females. All dogs in your household need to be fixed and up to date on vaccines.

Diamond is a girl who will tell you what she wants, and she's a talker! She grumbles and barks when excited. Sometimes she just whispers in the funniest little grumblings! She loves being near her humans even if it just means a paw is on you!

Diamond is crate-trained although there's really no need to use one unless it is just for initial transition into a new home with new animals. She doesn't have accidents in the house and tends to want to be by your side. She's a clingy dog in the absence of a dog soulmate. She loves to cuddle and snuggle you and take up your personal space, but does NOT jump on or whine at you.

She is interested in cats and if they run, she will be inclined to chase. But when they stop, she will also stop and just loose interest. She has been exposed to kittens and adult cats intermittently in a household setting. Outside she will chase and take off after cats or any wildlife, including insects! She is suited to a fenced yard but walks well on a leash although gets overly excited when seeing new animals.

A cat with an attitude and no interest in running is the best match for her. She has tolerated the misfortune of cat slaps to the face and respectfully withdrawn when that has happened. She is a very curious dog and while cats are ok, it will take her a few weeks to respect the cat's boundaries. A cat that is easily spooked of a new dog would not be an ideal match.

Medium energy level. Likes to go on walks and prefers some energetic entertainment from you--likes to run and play with humans and some other dogs. Can play rough with other dogs. Gets bouts of the infamous zoomies daily and needs to run those out in the safe confines of a yard unless you're a super active person who can exercise her multiple times a day, all year long.

Ideal adopter will have a *secure* fenced yard. Home visit required, and vet references.

All existing dogs in household must be fixed.

Ability to afford preventative healthcare. Diamond needs to be on heartworm preventative and flea-tick preventatives year-round.

Serious inquiries only. No small children (10+yrs only). Cats are OK but at your discretion depending on their personalities.

Contact us via www.facebook.com/allspecieskinship private message only.

If you do NOT have social media, email: allspeciesk@gmail.com.
