Hi, I'm Diamond! I'm a smart, high-energy pup looking for my perfect forever home. I may be a little unsure at first, but once I warm up, I'm playful, fun, and full of personality! I'm clever--so clever I can open lever door handles! I love being close to my favorite people and will happily settle in at night if my bed is near yours. Thunderstorms used to scare me, but I'm getting braver every day. I thrive on activity--long walks, car rides, frisbee, and chasing squirrels are my favorite things. If you're a runner, I'd love to be your jogging buddy! Just make sure your fence is over 4 feet--I've got some serious hops. Great news--I've recently completed heartworm treatment and am now officially heartworm negative! I'm ready to put the past behind me and get back to living life to the fullest. I can be strong-willed and get nippy when stressed, so I need a home without young kids. I'm selective with dogs (slow intros are a must) and way too interested in chasing cats, so a feline-free home is best. I'm crate-trained (though I like "redesigning" my bedding) and don't bark much. And my greatest love? Water bottles--empty, full, doesn't matter! If you're active, patient, and can help me build confidence, I'll be the most loving, loyal companion. I promise to make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and be your best adventure buddy!
