Diamond's Story
Hello friends,
My name is DIAMOND and I have a personality that sparkles! I am two years old and really want to have a family of my own to love me and give me a lot of attention.

A nice couple adopted me from Craigs List but with both of them working, they didnt have the time to housetrain me so they called the good folks at Coastal Poodle Rescue and I am now in a wonderful foster home!

I am almost totally housetrained and need to be taken outside on a regular basis. A pee pad at night would really help me. I love to go outside and I must have a totally above ground fenced yard so I know my boundaries. Chasing lizards and the neighbors cat when he comes into the yard gives me a lot of exercise. Maybe the cat doesnt think so!

You know what I absolutely love...sleeping in bed with my human, belly rubs, playing with toys and humans, eating and having another active dog to play with.

What I dont like is being in a crate or in a closed area where I cant get out. I really dont like to be left alone for long periods of time because Im afraid that you wont come back. Im working very hard and making incredible progress but I need a patient family willing to give me positive reinforcement. I sometimes bark a bit when left alone so a home without shared walls is needed. Sudden movements frighten me but Im getting better.

I would adjust well with a family with older children and/or another active dog to play with. I am still a puppy after all. If you give me a chance, I will show you what a wonderful girl I am and shower you with endless love and devotion.

If you wish to be considered for DIAMOND or any of our dogs, you are welcome to start the process by filling out an Adoption Application which can be found on our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org . On the homepage, click on `Adopt Now` on the right hand side to access the online application. Be sure to answer EVERY question on the application. If a question does not apply to you, enter N/A. For phone numbers that do not apply to you, enter all zeros for the phone number. If you do not answer every question, you will not be able to submit your application.
