Dexter is a tenderhearted 2-year-old who weighs 18 lbs. Don't let his white muzzle fool you.... he's a young sweet boy. He is a little shy at first, but once he knows you're kind, his heart opens wide. <br/><br/>He is heartworm positive (treated) and Chagas negative. <br/><br/>He craves gentle affection and will blossom in a patient, calm home where he feels safe. Coming from a background where he likely wasn't cared for....he just needs time and love to learn that he is finally home. <br/><br/>Dexter gets along well with other dogs here at the rescue...and loves people.
