He’s only four years old, extremely healthy and energetic. Yet he’s fine curling up in a circle bed at your feet when you’re watching TV or working. He’s been excellent about going outside, loves walking, eating and sometimes singing. He is also fine to be passed into someone else’s arms and will curl up on their lap, even if they are a perfect stranger. Though he definitely prefers female energy he’s untested with cats or children, but he has been cohabitating with an older dog and enjoys walking side-by-side on the street. Dexter will need a patient owner to help him adjust to the fact that his owners gave him up and left him at the shelter. He’s grieving and will need some time to feel safe and loved again.
