Meet Dexter! He is a goofy young active boy looking for his perfect home! He was brought in by a Good Samaritan after being found as a stray with his leash still attached. Sadly, no one came looking for him. We are looking for an experienced owner who has previously owned cattle dogs or herding breeds. Dexter is your typical cattle dog, he is extremely intelligent and high drive, he will need continuous physical AND mental exercise. He is house broken, walks well on leash and knows many commands. Dexter can be weary towards strangers and needs a capable owner to continue his socialization and training. With the right guidance he is capable of being the most loyal companion you'll ever have! He is about 1-2 years young, around 58 pounds, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He was not a fan of cats and will require a meet and greet with a dog.
