Dewey's Story

Meet Dewey!

Dewey is a 7 month old, 30 lb. petite pittie with the sweetest heart and the softest snuggles. This calm and cuddly boy is a professional nap buddy who thinks couches were made just for him. He adores his humans more than anything in the world and would love nothing more than to be your #1 companion. While Dewey enjoys romping with other pups in playgroups, he’s really a “one-family man” at heart and prefers to be the only dog in his forever home so he doesn’t have to share his people. He can be a little timid in new places or around new faces, but once he warms up, he’ll greet you with happy wiggles, gentle cuddles, and endless loyalty. Dewey is crate trained, working on his house training, and already has impressive recall for such a young pup. He loves stuffed Kongs, belly rubs, ice cubes and being your little shadow when you’re outside. He has done wonderfully at his vet visits, even when he’s nervous, showing just how resilient and brave he is. Dewey would thrive in a calmer, quieter home without small children or other pets, where he can soak up all the love and attention he craves.

If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly, loyal best friend who will always be by your side, Dewey might just be your perfect match!

#DoggoneHappyAnimalRescue
