DEUCE

Deuce (A565463) is a 10yo, 82lbs, unaltered male brindle and white terrier mix. Deuce was laying down in his kennel when I saw him. The signs on the kennel door say “please give me extra blankets” and “I am house trained, please take me out”. He was given extra blankets but still got up slowly, as if laying in the kennel was starting to hurt his joints. He was indeed very houstrained and made sure that he eliminated multiple times while I had him out. Deuce seems to know “sit” and “wait” cues and was happy to pose for pictures for me. Deuce did some fun parallel play with another young male pup through the fence in the dog run and the two boys seemed to get along well. Deuce has been in playgroup in the “gentle dainty” grouping and his notes indicate that his play style is “Steerable, sexually motivated,tolerant, playful”.
