Descenea A181262<br/>52 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old <br/><br/>-Timid baby who will need someone to go slow with her until she feels safe<br/>-She loves snacks and that's a great way to earn her trust. She sits and takes them nicely <br/>-She loves to sniff and explore<br/>-Once she's comfortable, she enjoys being close for pets<br/>-After some time she awkwardly rolled over and gave me her belly for pets<br/>-I even got one little kiss!<br/>-So while she is clearly nervous, she is trying her best to be brave!<br/>-She will definitely need time and patience and someone to go slow with her<br/>-Walks nicely on leash<br/>-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros <br/><br/>Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids <br/><br/>*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt <br/><br/>*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. <br/><br/>*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. <br/><br/>*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. <br/><br/>*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. <br/><br/>**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** <br/><br/>*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 <br/><br/>**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
