Dennis #5's Story

Dennis #5 is a handsome 3-year-old black lab mix weighing in at about 50 pounds of athletic energy and heart. He’s incredibly smart and eager to please — and it shows! Thanks to the dedication of the kennel team working with him daily, Dennis has nearly mastered commands like sit, shake, lay down, heel, and kennel up. He’s a fast learner who thrives with structure and consistency. Dennis would do best as the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. He truly enjoys being the center of someone’s world and thrives when he has his person all to himself. He’s looking for an active adopter who will continue his training, give him lots of attention, and enjoy engaging with him both mentally and physically. This playful guy loves tug-of-war and a good game of fetch — and if you’ve got treats, you’ve got his full attention! He’s very food-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Dennis is the total package—loyal, focused, and full of love. He’s ready to find his forever family where he can share his big heart and show just how special he truly is.
