Reighna is a beautiful dog with the sweetest soul. She has the look of a very serious queen, but underneath those icy blue eyes is a sweet girl who will not only steal your heart, but also your bed! Reighna takes her time to trust, but once she does she will show anyone her playful and quirkly side. Her quirky side comes out when she is engaged in mindful activities. Reighna is learning to walk on leash without pulling. She loves exploring her world on her walks. She also enjoys greeting her newly found friends in the neighborhood with her foster siblings. She is dog social and has enjoyed playing with her foster brother and sisters. Reighna is a fast learner once she has developed trust. She knows sit, down, and paw (when she feels like it!). She is a faithful companion, as she loves being with her people. Reighna yearns for a person who will take her on many adventures. It would be best for Reighna to be in a home where her people are around a lot. She was abandoned twice and she fears being abandoned again. An adopter needs to understand that it will take her time to build her trust again. A solidly fenced yard would be helpful for Reighna, but if there is no fence then an adopter would need to commit to giving her plenty of exercise. Reighna is housebroken, and she is working on crate training. Reighna is just over 2 years old. She has lived with children in the past and has done fine. Older children may be best just due to her size. Reighna was checked at a vet, and unfortunately, she tested positive for a type of lyme disease. She was treated and is asymptomatic. This is not affecting her at all, and she does not need anymore treatment at this time.
