Denali's Story

Meet Denali! She is a 4-year-old bully mix.
She has been with us for a few months and we have gotten to know her very well.
She did not have the best life before coming to us as a stray. It's obvious that she's had puppies in the past and had been running loose for quite a while before she made it here.
Denali is scared of new people and will growl and bark to scare them but with her trusted humans help she does warm up and accept new people.
She’s a giant goofball who will tap dance for her meals and treats, loves chasing toys and taking walks. Does very good for baths and even tolerates vet care really well. She spends time hanging out with us in the office and is content to get some pets then curl up with a chew bone and just be near us.
Denali knows basic commands, begs for food by trying to shake your hand and dances for joy on her back feet during play time.
She travels well in a care and enjoys outings with her trusted humans. She gets along well with most dogs, it’s so cute watching her play with other pups through the fence during outside time.
Denali prefers women but does well with men as well once they’ve earned her trust, which usually involves a treat or two. She does have some skin allergies but with regular bathing and a balanced diet those are completely manageable.
She isn’t the easiest dog at first but once she knows you are going to love her, she will become your constant cuddle bug.
We recommend that she go to a home without kids, they might just be too much energy for her to settle in and be her true self.
If you think you have the home and heart to show Denali what being a spoiled baby is all about fill out an application and come meet her.
