This gentle girl has clearly been through a lot in her life (she’s had puppies of her own 💔), but you’d never know it from how much love she has to give.<br/><br/>From day one, Demi settled right into her foster home and claimed her favorite spot — curled up under her foster mom’s chin at bedtime. She is a world-class cuddler and will happily keep you warm all night long.<br/><br/>💕 Personality<br/><br/>Demi is a great communicator. She plays when she’s in the mood and politely lets other dogs know when she needs a break. She’s been learning to trust that food is always coming, and already in just a few days she’s shown huge improvement with sharing space around treats and bones. She’s gentle when corrected and responds beautifully to patience and kindness.<br/><br/>She LOVES to play, especially with her foster brother Theo. They zoom, wrestle, and then happily relax side-by-side chewing their own bones. Seeing her learn how to just be a dog has been amazing.<br/><br/>🧠 What She’s Learning<br/><br/>Demi is mostly potty trained and does great when kept on a consistent schedule. Like any dog adjusting to a new home, she may have the occasional oops while learning routines, but she’s doing really well and understands that outside is the place to go.<br/><br/>She would still benefit from:<br/>• Being fed separately from other pets for now<br/>• Continued confidence-building and basic training<br/><br/>She is smart, eager to bond, and already showing she can adapt quickly in the right environment.<br/><br/>🐶 Other Animals<br/><br/>She does well with respectful dogs and communicates her boundaries appropriately. Playtime is happy and active, just monitored while everyone continues learning each other’s styles.
