Delta's Story

Meet Delta

Delta is a gorgeous 9-year-old German Shepherd weighing 86.5 pounds and bringing all the best qualities of the breed-loyalty, intelligence, and devotion-without the puppy chaos.

Delta is perfectly house-trained and enjoys going for walks before settling in to relax and vibe with his people. He does well meeting new folks once properly introduced, and once you're in, you're in. This is a dog who truly bonds with his humans.

Delta knows "sit", "down", "paw", "wait", is highly motivated by treats and praise, and genuinely wants to do the right thing for his people. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. Medically, Delta is doing well-he has only normal, age-related osteoarthritis, which doesn't stop him from enjoying daily walks and quality time.

If you're searching for a steady, loving companion who's past the wild stage and ready to be your loyal sidekick, Delta may be the perfect addition to your home.

Apply to adopt today, and/or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions!
