If the animal is not the appropriate age for spay/neuter, the adopter must sign a contract agreeing to spay or neuter at their expense. Ages for dogs and cats are as follows: Senior 5+ years, Adult 1-5 years, Young 6-12 months and Puppy/Kitten 0-6 months.
