Della's Story

Hi, I am Della! I am 8 years old, so I do have some hearing loss and blindness, but that doesn’t slow me down. I love zoomies and hopping in the backyard. I also love my crate and enjoy spending time in there and relaxing. Just a chill girl! I get along well with cats and grew up with them my whole life! If you’re ready for a calm, sweet Husky friend, please fill out an application to meet me! All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked "yes" to "Needs Experienced Adopter". This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
