Delilah's Story
Delilah is a true beacon of joy! This charming young Poodle mix is a resilient bundle of love who doesn't let anything slow down her happy-go-lucky spirit. Her inner light shines brighter than any challenge!

Delilah was born with Kyphosis, a genetic condition that causes an abnormal curvature of her spine. This means she has a distinct, wobbly gait when she walks. While her walk might be a little different, it certainly doesn't prevent her from being a happy, sweet, and perfectly comfortable girl. She is a brave puppy whose personality is simply magnetic!

Delilah adores other dogs and greets every pup she meets with an enthusiastic, tail-wagging hello! She also loves to try to initiate a game of chase with the resident cats, though they don't always appreciate her enthusiasm for play! She promises a lifetime of snuggles and smiles for the family who opens their heart to her.

To help her continue thriving, Delilah is currently receiving physical therapy twice a week to improve her gait and ensure her long-term comfort. Her new family will need to be dedicated to continuing her comfort and progress through in-home physical therapy (PT) exercises. We are happy to provide comprehensive training for her adopter on how to perform her PT exercises, and we will also supply the necessary equipment, ensuring you have everything needed to continue her care right at home.

Delilah is a very good girl looking for a compassionate home that sees beyond her physical difference and recognizes the incredible heart and loving nature she possesses. If you have any questions about Delilah's care, her condition, or her adoption, please feel free to send an email to: abigail@themilkdrunkfoundation.org.
