Delilah has arrived! This gorgeous petite Dalmation is as sweet as she is pretty. She is about 3 years old and 47 pounds and ready for her new home. She just got to CO and this is what we know so far...<br/><br/>First impressions are important, and here is what her foster family has to say about her so far: Delilah is a very social and friendly girl, with a confident, curious and fun vibe - her tail has hardly stopped wagging since she arrived. True to her breed, she is athletic and energetic, and will likely thrive as a running or hiking companion and do best in an active family that can match her energy needs. She craves and enjoys affection from her people, and once ready to settle is happy to join you on the couch for some cuddle time. Delilah has been trying very hard to engage her foster dog siblings in play, and we think she’d enjoy having another friendly playful dog in her forever home.<br/><br/>More important (and less exciting) stuff about Delilah: She was calm while being bathed, is eating and drinking well. She’s doing a great job going potty outside, and slept quietly in her crate all night. She will need some work on some basic skills, such as leash walking (pulling) and occasional jumping up. Delilah seems very smart and treat motivated, so these skills should be easily mastered with some consistent reminders.
