She made the journey thanks to Mutt Life Dog Rescue and has been adjusting beautifully to her new life.

Delilah is an approximately 5-month-old puppy weighing about 35 lbs. She is one of three female siblings who were originally dumped on an elderly couple and kept outdoors until a winter storm put them at serious risk. Thankfully, rescue stepped in just in time to bring the girls to safety.

Since arriving in Wisconsin, Delilah has been thriving. She is getting the hang of potty training, crate training, and walking nicely on a leash. She already knows “sit,” especially when a treat is involved, and she loves to come running when called. She has great recall and does wonderfully off leash with her foster.

Delilah has a very Lab-like personality with those classic German Shepherd smarts. She is eager to please, quick to learn, and very in tune with her people. After a long walk or outdoor adventure, she’s happiest cuddled up on the couch with her humans. She’s truly a big sweetie who loves being part of the family.

She is currently being fostered on a farm with horses, other dogs, and cats, and she is doing well with all the animals. She has also done great at meet-and-greet events and handled walking through downtown Cedarburg during Winter Fest like a champ. She takes new experiences in stride and enjoys being out and about.

Delilah would make a wonderful addition to a family, a young couple, or anyone looking for a loyal best buddy for life’s adventures. She’s a really nice dog with so much love to give.

Age: Approximately 5 months
Gender: Female
Weight: Approximately 35 lbs
Breed: Lab/Shepherd Mix (best guess)
Spay/Neuter: Not yet (scheduled)
Crate Trained: In progress (doing great!)
Potty Trained: In progress (getting the hang of it!)
Leash Manners: Good for a puppy
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Yes
Good with Kids: Yes

If you’re interested in adopting Delilah, please apply today at www.muttlife.org

__________

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption.
__________

Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply!

https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies
_________

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1.)
