Right now, she can be timid and shy, but with patience and gentle guidance, she’s slowly gaining confidence every day. Deedee thrives in the company of other dogs and with slower movements and calm interactions with people, allowing her to feel safe and start to open her heart.<br/><br/>Once she feels comfortable, Deedee’s playful and affectionate side truly shines. She loves giving kisses, sitting close to her favorite people, and—when the mood strikes—zooming around in bursts of pure joy! Thanks to Home for Good Dog Rescue, Dee Dee has completed her Heartworm treatment. <br/> <br/>*Heartworm disease is a serious and if left untreated, fatal disease. It is caused by foot-long worms (heartworms) that live in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels of affected animals, causing severe lung disease, heart failure, and damage to other organs in the body.
