Meet Dean! <br/><br/>This handsome little guy has officially finished his stray hold and is ready to start looking for his FURever family! <br/><br/>Dean was found hiding underneath a sweet family’s home after he and his sister, Dolly, had been seen running loose for about a week. Thankfully, they are now safe with us and getting the care they deserve. <br/><br/>Dean was born approximately late May or early June 2026 and is believed to be a Shepherd mix. We expect him to be a medium-sized boy, likely around 40–50 pounds when fully grown.<br/><br/>Dean is the more outgoing of the two and is already showing us plenty of personality! He especially loves finding a nice air vent to lay on. Apparently, this boy knows how to stay cool in style!<br/><br/>He came to us with A LOT of worms and fleas , but we’ve been working hard to get him feeling his best! He has been dewormed twice and started on Credelio Quattro for flea, tick & heartworm prevention. <br/><br/>His vetting includes:<br/><br/> Neuter<br/> 2nd puppy vaccine<br/> Rabies vaccine<br/> Bordetella vaccine<br/> Microchip<br/><br/>Dean seems to know how to use puppy pads, although he’s still a puppy and will need continued work on house training and all those important puppy lessons. <br/><br/> A note about Dean & Dolly: Although they are littermates, they will NOT be adopted together. We are primarily a dog rescue. We are not able to take in cats (unless you can foster the cat) until a home can be found. To contact us, please email us at fureverfurkids@gmail.com. If interested in adopting a FURkid, please read the pets’ full bio and if they sound like a good fit, fill out the application on our website www.fureverfurkids.com The application is the 1st step. If the application is approved, we will check with your veterinarian for a reference. Finally, we will meet at your home (if local) for a home check. If not local, we ask for videos/pictures of your home, then we will let you know at the "meet and greet" if you are approved to officially adopt!
