Dean's Story
Meet Dean!

This handsome little guy has officially finished his stray hold and is ready to start looking for his FURever family!

Dean was found hiding underneath a sweet family’s home after he and his sister, Dolly, had been seen running loose for about a week. Thankfully, they are now safe with us and getting the care they deserve.

Dean was born approximately late May or early June 2026 and is believed to be a Shepherd mix. We expect him to be a medium-sized boy, likely around 40–50 pounds when fully grown.

Dean is the more outgoing of the two and is already showing us plenty of personality! He especially loves finding a nice air vent to lay on. Apparently, this boy knows how to stay cool in style!

He came to us with A LOT of worms and fleas , but we’ve been working hard to get him feeling his best! He has been dewormed twice and started on Credelio Quattro for flea, tick & heartworm prevention.

His vetting includes:

Neuter
2nd puppy vaccine
Rabies vaccine
Bordetella vaccine
Microchip

Dean seems to know how to use puppy pads, although he’s still a puppy and will need continued work on house training and all those important puppy lessons.

A note about Dean & Dolly: Although they are littermates, they will NOT be adopted together. We want each puppy to have the best chance to grow, learn, gain confidence, and bond with their own family while avoiding the potential challenges of littermate syndrome.

A fenced yard is highly preferred for Dean.

Adoption fee: $300 to an approved home.

If this fun-loving, air-vent-loving little guy sounds like the perfect addition to your family, we’d love for you to apply!

www.fureverfurkids.com
