He is in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and able to transport to an adopter once approved. <br/><br/>Please note our process starts with an application. If we think you might be a good fit, we will reach out to coordinate a phone interview. This is followed by a video call with the foster home. Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process. Transport is included in our adoption donation. <br/><br/>Dean’s story began in an overcrowded shelter where he and his best friend were facing euthanasia. Thanks to rescue, he’s now thriving in his foster home and blossoming more every day. Once a nervous boy, Dean has learned that life can be safe, fun, and full of love. We expect he may be a bit reserved when first settling into a new home, but with patience and kindness, his playful, silly side will shine through.<br/><br/>Dean adores the dogs in his foster home—big dogs, little dogs, and even puppies. In true small-dog fashion, he loves to play the role of the tiny boss, but it’s all in good fun. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and has a moderate energy level. He’ll happily join in on playtime or wrestling sessions with the larger pups, but he’s equally content to curl up for a cozy nap.<br/><br/>He hasn’t been fostered with cats or children, but we think he’d do well with respectful kids based on his friendly, goofy nature.<br/><br/>Dean is sweet, happy, and ready to bring joy into a forever home. If you’re looking for a cheerful little companion with a big heart, Dean may be your perfect match!<br/><br/>***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
