Whether she's bouncing around with her favorite toy or curling up beside you for a quiet moment, she brings the perfect mix of fun and affection.<br/><br/>She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy to romp around with. Daze is also a great passenger - she rides calmly in the car, making her an easy companion for errands, road trips, or weekend adventures.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a gentle, joyful, ready-to-love pup who will brighten your days (and leave you happily dazed), come meet Daze! She's very curious and loves to sniff all of her surroundings. She's very strong and will pull on the leash. She doesn't seem to know any commands, but when you make kissy noises she comes right up to you for hugs and kissed. She was a stray, so she doesn't respond to the name Daze. She's very cuddly and will roll around and get zoomies on the ground with you. Her gorgeous ears perk up and her tail wags when people and dogs walk by. She was very sociable with people and got plenty of attention and love from us and others. Everyone adored her! She's very treat motivated, but she seemed to discard toys out of the pure excitement of being outside and seeing people. We went to a park where many people, kids and dogs walked by, and she wasn't triggered to jump or bark at any of them. She was very calm and alert, her hair stayed down and tail kept wagging! She even spotted an outdoor cat on our walk, and she did not react. The only thing so far is she will try to chase squirrels and she is a strong puller on the leash, but other than that she was very well behaved! I would also add that Daze is very good in the car!!<br/><br/>Per volunteer on 11/16: WOW what a fun dog! I took her out for the photoshoot and she was immediately playful with me upon exiting the kennel. Very bouncy with a waggy tail and happy open mouth. I took her for a short walk around the property and she was a pleasure to walk with some mild pulling. She sniffed happily at other dogs through the fence and has had a good dog meet on site at the shelter. At the photoshoot, she tolerated me putting a sweater on her with loose body language. I was able to remove the sweater with no issues and return her to her kennel. She is affectionate and sweet.<br/><br/>Behavior evaluation from staff on 11/11: <br/>Kennel Presentation: At the front of the kennel when I approached. Soft eyes, one ear forward and one to the side, loose body and tail wagging.<br/><br/>Leash Skills: Easy to leash. Pulled mildly through the kennels.<br/><br/>Sociability: Very social. Stood up on hind legs and leaned entire body into mine. Takes treats nicely and knows sit. Her body remained loose and wiggly, soft eyes with ears one forward and one to the side.<br/><br/>Play: did not engage in playing with toys<br/><br/>Dog Interaction: Met Rafiki through the fence. Both dogs were loose wiggly and playbowing.<br/><br/>Return to Kennel: Pulled mildly through the kennel and went right in without any issue.<br/><br/>Color Level: Gold<br/>------------------------------------------------------<br/>ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
