Meet Dayzee
Our toothless land seal, happy house hippo, spotted like a cow dog (but doesn’t moooo)…whatever species you decide she is, is looking for a forever family to love her the mostest for all of her days!
Dayzee is what most people would probably consider “undesirable” or “not highly sought out after” for a dog. She’s middle aged, has the saddest tear stained face & dark eyes, has no front teeth so it’s always tongues out Tuesday in her world, she battled heartworm, is a bit of a wild woman, can be a space cadet, and is another bully mix; one of the thousands discarded each day.
For all the reasons no one else wanted her, are the exact reasons we did.
Dayzee is an all around sweetheart, and is truly an under dog; any family would be lucky to have her as an edition Dayzee Mae! The vet thinks she is around 5. She was heart-worm positive when we got her, but she is happy and healthy now! She was spayed and had a dental procedure where they pulled 6 teeth. She was not house or kennel trained when we got her, but she has conquered it!
Outside of health stuff ….
She loves her humans hard and all she wants to do is be by your side. She does have some boundary issues (is all about being in your space) but she came to us not even knowing how to be a dog.
She was found as a stray and it is obvious that she has had no choice but to fend for herself. If she could eat all day, she would. She eats twice a day and eats every last bite, no crumbs left!
Dayzee is multiple dog friendly, loves humans of any size, shape, and color. She’s never met a cat, but can be cat tested.
She pulls slightly on leash when walking but gets her business done and wants to go back home to chill.
Toys are a new thing for her and she’s crazy with them. Whips them around and you never know if she’s going to throw it across the room or pull it apart. She loves anything she can chew & rip apart.
She sleeps thru the night in her kennel and is kenneled when we leave because she doesn’t like to be left and will get in to things. Dayzee naps as hard as she plays and loves her humans.
She’s a car riding queen and sits like a perfect angel - don’t forget the pup cup!
She’s a sweetheart and needs a patient person to help her with her manners!
