Dayna is a 6-month-old 13lb Pug Mix. She is a sweet & calm girl. Dayna gets along well with other dogs. She is still young & learning how to navigate the world, she would benefit from basic obedience training to know how to properly walk on a leash & learning commands. Dayna would make a great addition into any family as she is good with kids, other dogs, & cats!! She is a loveable girl who will love to cuddle with you. Dayna may. be shy when first meeting people but she quickly becomes safe & wants to be in your lap. She is a well-mannered puppy & would do well in any environment!! MEET THE PET AFTER YOUR APPLICATION IS APPROVED! Your application also works for any other pets in our care, so be sure to periodically check our adoptables list. We review within 24 hours. We'd also be happy to keep an eye out for any pets that match the criteria you're looking for - just let us know. After your home is approved, you'll be able to meet the pet either at our shelter, or we'd love to take your possible future best friend closer to where you're located. We go to San Diego and Griffith Park on a weekly basis to cover as much area as we can! Anywhere in between is possible for a meeting spot too, depending on our availability. 4.) TAKE YOUR PET HOME ON A TRIAL PERIOD OR COMPLETE THE ADOPTION. We generally do same-day adoptions after the meet-and-greet. Certain animals are eligible for a 1-2 week trial period where you'll be able to see how he or she does in your home environment - if you have pets at home or kids, we can often do this. You'll have the opportunity to ask our adoption coordinators and volunteers any questions about caring for your pet.
