Meet Dax, a lovable Pittie mix who’s ready to steal your heart, and maybe your lap, too!<br/><br/>Dax is a gentle, medium-energy boy who adores his people and loves nothing more than curling up for cuddles and giving soft kisses. He’s a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, you’ll see his goofy, affectionate personality shine through.<br/><br/>He’s currently living with several other dogs (nine, to be exact!) and gets along great with them. While he’s shown a little food-guarding around human meals, he responds well to correction and has done beautifully with structured feeding routines.<br/><br/>House & Crate Training:<br/>Dax is doing fantastic with his potty training — he knows to go outside and is great about holding it. He’s okay in his crate, though he’ll sometimes "chat" if he knows you’re home (he just doesn’t want to miss out on the fun!).<br/><br/>Other Notes:<br/>Great with other dogs<br/>Cats & kids: unknown<br/>Walks nicely on leash, no reactivity observed<br/>No aggression or separation anxiety noted<br/>Loves toys, especially noisy ones (the crinklier, the better!)<br/><br/>May indulge in a bit of backyard digging if left alone (he might have a little mole in him).<br/><br/>Dax would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to build confidence and get plenty of affection.
